The Adderall Diaries

The Adderall Diaries follows writer and author Stephen Elliott (James Franco), who reaches a low point when his estranged father resurfaces, claiming that much of Stephen's dark childhood was fabricated. As Stephen navigates this precarious gray area of memory, he is inspired by three sources: a new romance with Lana Edmond (Amber Heard), a reunion with his best friend Josh (Wilmer Valderrama), and the murder trial of Hans Reiser (Christian Slater). Based on Stephen's memoir, the film explores themes of memory, identity, and the blurred lines between truth and fiction.
