Smugglers

In a gripping tale of revenge and redemption, "Smugglers" (2023) follows two female divers, Choon-ja and Jin-sook, as they navigate a treacherous underworld of smuggling in 1970s South Korea. Initially coerced into the trade by a smuggling broker, the women's livelihoods are transformed when they turn to underwater smuggling, collecting valuable goods from the depths of the sea.
