Sumpahan Jerunei

Based on 13th-century Bornean rituals and sacrifice, Dr. Sani (Bront Palarae) leads a team into the jungle in search of his missing wife, who was studying the mysterious Jerunei (Burial Pole). As they delve deeper, hallucinations, malevolent disturbances, and unexplained transportation ensue, with one member being taken over by dark forces from beyond the Jerunei. The film explores the historical, ancient burial rituals and mysticism of the Melanau community in Sarawak, offering a fresh and educational take on Malay horror.
