The Shepherd

On Christmas Eve 1957, Flying Officer Freddie Hook (Ben Radcliffe) is a fighter pilot on his way home who becomes lost while flying over water and needs a miracle to land safely. With guidance from a de Havilland Mosquito pilot, Freddie touches down at an abandoned airfield after heavy fog sets in. He meets Sergeant Joe Marks (Steven Mackintosh), the base's lone officer, who helps him find sanctuary and informs him about the role of guide-pilots like John Kavanagh (John Travolta).
