The King of Fighters

The King of Fighters is a tournament held in an alternate dimension where contestants use special Bluetooth headsets to enter the challenge. Mai Shiranui and her boyfriend Iori Yagami attend a museum unveiling, but Rugal Bernstein steals the relics and disappears into a dimensional portal, awakening the Orochi entity. CIA agent Terry Bogard demands information on Rugal's whereabouts, while Mai is an undercover operative sent by the CIA to infiltrate Chizuru's organization. The surviving members of three legendary fighting clans are whisked away to other dimensions to battle native defenders while the force that summoned them seeks a way to invade and infect our world.
