The Black Cat

In a small English village, a series of horrible accidents occur, and Scotland Yard Inspector Gorley investigates a local medium who records conversations with the dead. Character Actor Patrick Magee plays Prof. Robert Miles, a former college professor of the supernatural who is reputed to be a medium. A black cat appears in a car and causes its owner's death, and the animal's presence is linked to a series of gruesome events that lead to a police constable's tragic demise.
