A Bag of Hammers

"A Bag of Hammers" is a 2011 American comedy-drama film about two misfit best friends, Ben Dwellman (Jason Ritter) and Alan Manilow (Jake Sandvig), who pose as valets at funerals to steal cars and sell them to a pessimistic car dealer. Their lives are disrupted by Lynette Patterson (Carrie Preston), a single mother with a short temper who ultimately takes her own life, leaving Ben and Alan to care for her young son Kelsey. As they try to guide him into their eccentric lifestyle, they realize that Kelsey needs more suitable role models and must confront growing up themselves.
