The Rocket

In a land ravaged by war and exploitation, a boy named Ahlo (Sitthiphon Disamoe) whose family believe he is cursed must redeem himself by taking part in a dangerous rocket competition. With the help of his friend Kia (Loungnam Kaosainam), who has lost her entire family to malaria, and the enigmatic Purple (Suthep Pongam), Ahlo builds a rocket and enters the contest to earn money for a new home. As he navigates the challenges of the competition, Ahlo must also confront his own destiny and the legend that surrounds him, which ultimately leads to a surprising transformation.
