Between Revolutions

"Between Revolutions" is a documentary film that follows the parallel lives of two women, Maria and Zahra, whose biographies are connected through a decade-long letter exchange. The film explores their experiences in Iran during the Islamic Revolution and Romania under Ceaușescu's dictatorship, shedding light on the challenges faced by women in these societies. Through images and videograms of everyday life, the film reveals the struggles of living under oppressive regimes, with Victoria Stoiciu as Maria (voice) and Ilinca Harnut as Zahra (voice).
