The Devil's Disciple

In a small New England town during the American War of Independence, Dick Dudgeon, a revolutionary American Puritan, is mistaken for local minister Rev. Anthony Anderson and arrested by the British. As he continues to masquerade as the reverend, Dick discovers his own moral compass slipping away from him. Meanwhile, Judith, Reverend Anderson's wife, finds herself torn between her loyalty to her husband and her growing admiration for the man who has saved her from his perceived cowardice. Will Dick's clever ruse be enough to keep him out of harm's way, or will his true identity and revolutionary convictions lead to a very different fate?
