The First Christmas: The Story of the First Christmas Snow

A young shepherd named Lucas is struck by lightning and blinded, but kindly nuns at a nearby abbey take him in. There, he meets Sister Catherine, who describes snow to him for the first time. Lucas gets chosen to play an angel in the abbey's Christmas pageant, where he shares his dream of seeing snow with Louisa, another angel. After the pageant, it begins to snow, restoring Lucas' sight, and he is welcomed by Sister Theresa as a permanent resident at the abbey.
