Bruce Almighty

Bruce Nolan, a down-on-his-luck television reporter, accuses God of not doing his job correctly and is offered the chance to try being God himself for one week. The film follows Bruce as he navigates his newfound powers, using them for personal gain, causing miraculous events, and trying to balance his own desires with the voices of prayers that come through in his head. As he struggles to use his powers responsibly, Bruce must figure out a way to restore order to Buffalo without relying on his divine abilities.
