What Have I Done to Deserve This?

A downtrodden housewife, Gloria (Carmen Maura), struggles to cope with her dysfunctional family life in a small Madrid apartment. Her husband Antonio (Ángel de Andrés López) is a taxi driver and forger of letters, which Antonio's sons, Toni (Juan Martínez) and Miguel (Miguel Ángel Herranz), are involved in various misadventures. Gloria's life becomes unbearable as she faces financial struggles, family problems, and even sedates herself without prescription, leading to a tragic event that changes everything.
