In this campy, gory delight, a barrel of radioactive waste is lost in the woods, sparking a chain reaction that turns demented rednecks into zombie-like creatures after consuming their home-brewed moonshine. Directed by Pericles Lewnes and released by Troma Entertainment, Redneck Zombies is a Z-film horror-comedy that revels in its over-the-top gore and hillbilly hijinks, set against the eerie backdrop of Maryland's rural landscape. With its low-budget charm and irreverent humor, this cult classic has become a staple of midnight movie screenings and aficionado delights.
