The Spanish Dancer

The Spanish Dancer is a 1923 American silent costume epic starring Pola Negri as Maritana, a beautiful Spanish young woman who captivates the poor people among whom she lives and becomes involved in the affairs of the Spanish court with her sweetheart Don Cesar de Bazan, played by Antonio Moreno. Through her charms and wiles, Maritana saves Don Cesar's life and wins a respected place for herself at the royal court.
