Son of Paleface

In this zany comedy Western sequel to The Paleface (1948), Bob Hope stars as Peter "Junior" Potter Jr., a Harvard-educated young man returning to claim his father's lost gold. As Junior navigates a town where everyone claims to be owed money by his dad, he strolls around in a comical striped suit jacket, stalls the townsfolk for as long as possible, and gets entangled with a sexy saloon performer named Mike, played by Jane Russell. With Roy Rogers as a singing cowboy who just happens to be a government agent, Junior's antics lead to a series of wild showdowns, including an attack by Indians and a thrilling fight in an abandoned mine.
