Tim Roth stars as ATF agent Hank Harris, who is being investigated by Kristyan Ferrer's character Arnulfo Rubio while transporting weapons from Arizona to Mexico. After Harris blows his cover, they embark on a journey where Harris becomes the hostage of Arnulfo's young criminal associate Carson. As they travel through Mexico, Harris and Arnulfo form an unlikely bond, with Harris sharing personal struggles that contrast with Arnulfo's life as a cartel member.
