Under the Same Moon

Under the Same Moon tells the parallel stories of nine-year-old Carlitos and his mother, Rosario, a single mother who illegally crossed the US-Mexico border to Los Angeles in hopes of providing a better life for her son. When Carlitos' grandmother unexpectedly dies, he sets out on a journey to reunite with his mother, facing challenges and dangers along the way. Meanwhile, Rosario struggles to find work and faces racism, but ultimately embarks on a separate path to find her son. The film follows their parallel journeys as they strive to reconnect and provide a better life for Carlitos.
