Triumph of the Spirit

During World War II, Salamo Arouch, a passionate boxer, is arrested and sent to a concentration camp where he's forced to box against his fellow prisoners for the sake of entertainment. As he struggles to survive amidst unimaginable horrors, Arouch finds solace in his love for boxing and the memory of his family, particularly his fiancée Allegra, whose fate becomes increasingly uncertain with each passing day. The film is a harrowing biographical drama that details Arouch's experiences in the Auschwitz concentration camp, where he must make impossible choices to prolong his own survival.
