A Shot at Glory

In the gritty world of Scottish football, tensions simmer as the irascible manager Gordon McLeod (Robert Duvall) struggles to keep his lower-division team, Kilnockie FC, afloat amidst threats from their impatient American owner (Michael Keaton). As the pressure mounts, McLeod must also confront personal demons, including the arrival of his estranged son-in-law-turned-star-striker Jackie McQuillan (Ally McCoist), whose presence sparks a complicated web of emotions. With the fate of the team hanging in the balance, McLeod must lead Kilnockie FC to victory against all odds, including a grueling showdown with arch-rivals Rangers.
