Quincy "Q" Johnson (Jerry Trainor) is a professional gamer trying to raise $175,000 to buy his family home after his parents move to a retirement home in Florida. Quincy enters a tournament for the game "Black Hole" with a grand prize of $175,500, but faces off against Chris Saunders ("Prodigy") (Jennette McCurdy), an equally skilled gamer who becomes a major obstacle in his plans. With the help of his friend Wendell (Amir Talai), Quincy tries to find ways to stop Chris from entering the tournament and ultimately teams up with her to take down a common enemy, leading to an unexpected outcome at the tournament.
