Divorce Italian Style

In the Sicilian town of Agramonte, Ferdinando Cefalù, a 37-year-old impoverished nobleman, fantasizes about killing his unfaithful wife Rosalia after discovering she's not as faithful as he expected when her supposed lover is revealed to be married with three children. Desperate for an excuse for an honor killing, Ferdinando schemes to lead Rosalia into having an affair with a local priest's godson, a painter named Carmelo Patanè, whose presence in their house becomes the catalyst for his plan's unexpected complications.
