Crimson Peak

In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider, swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds... and remembers. Set in Victorian-Era England, the film follows Edith Cushing as she uncovers dark secrets and supernatural forces at work within Allerdale Hall, a dilapidated mansion with a haunting history of murder, incest, and betrayal. As Edith navigates this treacherous new world, she must confront the true nature of her husband's family and the ghosts that haunt them - including those of his previous wives and the daughter he never knew.
