Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe

In 1987 El Paso, two Mexican-American teenage boys, Aristotle "Ari" Mendoza and Dante Quintana, form a deep and unexpected friendship that helps them navigate their identities and the difficulties of growing up. As they spend more time together, Ari learns about Dante's struggles with his sexuality, and Dante confides in Ari about his feelings for another boy, Daniel. The film follows their journey as they confront their own insecurities, family secrets, and the complexities of first love.
