The Lighthorsemen

In 1917, four World War I Australian cavalrymen – Frank, Scotty, Chiller, and Tas – serve in Palestine as part of the 4th Light Horse Brigade, a unit of the British and Commonwealth forces. When Frank dies, he is replaced by Dave, who finds himself unable to fire his weapon in combat and is transferred to the Medical Corps. The British plan the capture of Beersheba, but with limited water and supplies, they embark on a daring attack that will prove to be a turning point in the war. With time running out and the Turkish-German defenders waiting for them, the Australians charge into battle, executing a swift and decisive victory that will secure their place in history.
