Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind

In this 1978 Brazilian horror film, a psychiatric doctor's grip on reality begins to slip as he succumbs to vivid nightmares of Zé do Caixão trying to steal his wife. Desperate for help, Dr. Hamílton turns to colleagues who enlist the assistance of filmmaker José Mojica Marins - aka Coffin Joe - to convince him that this monstrous figure is nothing more than a product of his own deranged mind. As the lines between reality and fantasy blur, one man must confront the darkest corners of his own psyche.
