Embodiment of Evil

Coffin Joe (José Mojica Marins) is released from prison after 40 years and resumes his lifelong quest to sire a male child with a woman he deems superior. He tests the endurance of Dr. Hilda (Cléo De Páris), a controversial eugenicist, but also faces opposition from Coronel Claudiomiro Pontes (Jece Valadão) and Father Eugênio (Milhem Cortaz). Haunted by ghostly visions of his past victims, Joe singles out Elena (Nara Sakarê), who ultimately offers herself to him.
