A contemplative and introspective thriller, American Star follows Wilson, an aging hitman, as he takes on a final assignment in Fuerteventura, only to find himself drawn into a tranquil island life when his target is delayed. As the world shifts around him, Wilson must confront the consequences of his violent past and the simplicity of his former life. With its gorgeously shot location and Ian McShane's brilliant performance at its core, American Star is a gripping and emotionally resonant exploration of mortality, morality, and the human condition.
