Patiala House

"Patiala House" is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language sports drama film directed by Nikkhil Advani, starring Akshay Kumar as Parghat "Gattu" Singh Kahlon, a former fast bowler who fulfills his childhood dream of playing for England with the help of his siblings and Simran, a childhood friend. Gurtej Singh Kahlon, played by Rishi Kapoor, is Gattu's disapproving father, but ultimately finds redemption when he sees his son succeed on the team. The film follows Gattu's journey as he navigates his relationships with his family and his newfound opportunity to play for England.
