Corruption

A surgeon in London, Sir John Rowan (Peter Cushing), pledges to reverse his much younger fiancée Lynn's disfigured face after a party altercation where Lynn is severely scarred by a hot lamp. He experiments with laser technology and eventually develops a cure-all: transplanting pituitary glands to restore her beauty. Driven by guilt and love, Rowan goes on a gruesome murder spree to obtain more "donors," leading to a descent into chaos and disaster. The film's graphic content and extreme violence for its time make it a notorious cult classic, with some versions featuring different actresses and dialogue due to studio bickering.
