Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol

Commandant Eric Lassard decides to recruit civilian volunteers for his new "Citizens On Patrol" program, which aims to improve community relations and police operations. A group of Police Academy graduates, led by Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), Moses Hightower (Bubba Smith), Larvell Jones (Michael Winslow), Eugene Tackleberry (David Graf), Carl Sweetchuck (Tim Kazurinsky), Laverne Hooks (Marion Ramsey), and Debbie Callahan (Leslie Easterbrook), are tasked with training the new recruits. The civilians include a senior citizen, gung-ho skateboarding teenagers, and even a judge who agrees to let two delinquents join the program as an alternative punishment. As the volunteers train, they face opposition from Captain Thaddeus Harris (G. W. Bailey), who believes the program is a failure, but ultimately help foil an undercover sting and catch escaped felons, earning the praise of their superiors.
