The Iron Claw

The Iron Claw is a 2023 biographical sports drama film written and directed by Sean Durkin about the Von Erichs, a family of professional wrestlers beset by tragedy. The film depicts the struggles of wrestling company owner Fritz Von Erich's sons to achieve success, from 1979 to the early 1990s, as they navigate their complicated relationships with each other and their domineering father, who groomed them for greatness but ultimately succumbed to his own darkness. Zac Efron stars as Kevin Von Erich, the current Texas Heavyweight Champion, alongside Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harris Dickinson as David Von Erich, Stanley Simons as Mike Von Erich, and Holt McCallany as Fritz Von Erich, the patriarch of the family.
