Dounia et la princesse d'Alep

Dounia et la princesse d'Alep follows six-year-old Dounia as she leaves her hometown of Aleppo with her grandparents to find a new place to live following the outbreak of the Syrian Civil War. Alongside her grandparents and other refugees, including Georgette Darbouss, Lina, Djewane, and the ancient statues Ayn and Chand, Dounia traverses the world in search of asylum, drawing strength from the wisdom of the ancient world brought to light by her grandmother's magic nigella seeds.
