Tiger Stripes

A 12-year-old girl named Zaffan begins to develop unusual symptoms upon hitting puberty, forcing her to grapple with a mysterious and visceral power that manifests as a transformation into a weretiger-like beast when she's angry. Her classmates, particularly the prefect Farah, are disgusted by her new growth, leading to social ostracism and bullying. As Zaffan struggles to cope with her changing body and emotions, she finds an unlikely ally in Mariam, who also begins to experience similar transformations, and together they attempt to evade capture by a snake-oil exorcist, Dr. Rahim.
