The Sweet East

Lillian Wade (Talia Ryder), a high school senior from South Carolina, embarks on a picaresque adventure through the East Coast of the United States after a class trip to Washington, D.C. She is led by anarchist activist Caleb (Earl Cave) and meets Lawrence (Simon Rex), a far-right university professor and Nazi sympathizer, at his home in New York City. Lillian's journey takes her to various locations, including Vermont, where she finds refuge with an Islamic community, before returning home to discover that her classmates have been affected by the chaos of modern America.
