Last Resort

Tanya, a young Russian woman, arrives in London with her 10-year-old son Artyom in search of a new life, but when her fiancé fails to show up, she's left stranded and forced to claim political asylum in the grimy seaside town of Stonehaven. There, she meets Alfie, an amusement arcade manager who helps them escape their difficult circumstances, leading to a complex and emotional relationship between Tanya, Artyom, and Alfie. As Tanya navigates her new life in England, she must decide whether to stay with the people who have come to care for her or return to Russia, her homeland.
