Meet the lovable misfits from the Miramar Ballroom, where taxi dancers Molly, Slats, and Oliver spin plates and bring laughter to the masses. When a publicity stunt lands Molly in the spotlight, she's offered a scholarship to staid Bixby College - but only if her brother Slats and pal Oliver join her as caretakers. Together, they concoct a harebrained scheme to save the school from foreclosure, involving a rigged basketball game, drag wrestling, and a high-stakes bet on the outcome. Will this unlikely trio of working-class heroes come out on top, or will their antics end in defeat?
