Kacey Mottet Klein plays Marquis Jacques Antoine Saturnin d'Urfe, a French emissary who finds refuge in the home of a strange family after becoming lost in a hostile forest. The story is based on Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy's 1839 novella "The Family of the Vourdalak" and follows Antoine as he navigates a world where death, loss, and the supernatural are intertwined.
