In 1973, a research team in the Amazon rainforest in Peru discovers an unidentified spider species with rare healing properties. Thirty years later, Cassandra "Cassie" Webb, a paramedic in New York City, has a near-death experience and begins to develop psychic abilities as a clairvoyant that allow her to see future events within the "spider world." When three teenage girls destined for powerful futures become targets of Ezekiel Sims, Cassie must intervene to save them from his deadly visions.
