Blood & Donuts

In 1994, Boya (Gordon Currie), a vampire awakened from his 25-year slumber, stumbles into a low-budget hotel near an all-night donut shop in Toronto. He befriends taxi driver Earl (Louis Ferreira) and falls for waitress Molly (Helene Clarkson), while trying to evade his former lover Rita (Fiona Reid). As he navigates the mortal world, Boya gets entangled in their problems, forming an unlikely connection with those around him, including a crime boss, played by David Cronenberg.
