The Wildcat

In this anarchic and playfully subversive satire of military life, Lieutenant Alexis (Paul Heidemann) is captured by a group of mountain bandits, led by Rischka (Pola Negri), who forces him to take off his uniform and kisses his hand despite being surrounded by armed men. At the fort where Alexis arrives, he meets Lilli (Edith Meller), the commander's daughter, but her affections are soon overshadowed by Rischka's arrival. As a madcap farce unfolds, Alexis is torn between his duty and his growing feelings for Rischka, who eventually wins him over with an unexpected display of affection from Pepo (Hermann Thimig).
