The Braid

In India, Smita (Mia Maelzer) dreams of giving her daughter an education despite facing poverty and societal obstacles as an untouchable. In Italy, Giulia (Fotinì Peluso), a middle-class woman, must navigate debt and family responsibilities after her father's accident. Meanwhile, in Canada, successful lawyer Sarah (Kim Raver) is on the verge of a promotion until she receives a serious breast cancer diagnosis.
