In a bizarre and unsettling mashup of romance, horror, and eroticism, "The Haunting of Morella" tells the tale of an executed witch named Morella who seeks to return from beyond the grave by inhabiting her 17-year-old daughter's body. This period piece Lovecraftian thriller is less about atmospheric tension and more about its abundant supply of breasts, which were no doubt a main draw for many a latch-key kid in the 90s looking for a late-night HBO fix.
