El amor brujo

"El amor brujo" is a 1986 Spanish musical drama film set in a Gypsy village where Candela, played by Cristina Hoyos, is bound to marry José, portrayed by Juan Antonio Jiménez, through an arranged union. After Carmelo's (Antonio Gades) loverly gestures are misinterpreted as guilt over his friend's death, he's imprisoned and later released to reveal his secret love for Candela. However, she's under a magical spell to relive her night with José' ghost every evening.
