The Crying Game

Fergus (Stephen Rea), a member of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA), forms an unexpected bond with Jody (Forest Whitaker), a kidnapped British soldier in his custody, despite warnings from fellow IRA members Jude and Maguire. After Jody's death, Fergus flees to London and seeks out his girlfriend Dil (Jaye Davidson), who develops feelings for him. As their relationship deepens, Fergus learns that Dil is transmasculine and must navigate his own identity and the consequences of his past actions.
