Damaged

In this grim and cliché-ridden thriller, Chicago detective Dan Lawson (Samuel L. Jackson) travels to Scotland to investigate a string of serial killings that eerily mirror one he handled five years earlier, leaving him reeling from the eerie familiarity of the case - and his own personal tragedy. With its atmospheric Scottish setting and a talented cast including Vincent Cassel, Gianni Capaldi, and Kate Dickie, "Damaged" promises to deliver a gripping mystery, but unfortunately, it fails to deliver on its promise of thrills, twists, or even tension, instead serving up a predictable and unfulfilling ride.
