The Mystic

In this 1925 MGM silent drama film, a phony psychic in a Hungarian carnival scheme-crashes and swindles American high society, under the guidance of a Svengali-like con man who becomes smitten with her. As Zara's supposed talents captivate the wealthy elite, she finds herself at the center of a web of deceit and betrayal, with two men vying for her affection.
