Lauren Hennessey (Danielle Panabaker), a perfectionist cook at "Food & Entertainment Magazine's" test kitchen, is offered a chance to ghostwrite a cookbook for notorious chef Dexter Durant (Shawn Roberts) if she can manage him. As they work together in the kitchen, Lauren uncovers a vulnerable side of Dexter and their contrasting culinary styles become an attraction.
