Arthur the King

In 2015, American runner Michael Light (Mark Wahlberg) is stuck on the first day of the Adventure Racing World Series in Costa Rica, prompting an argument with his teammate Leo (Simu Liu). Three years later, Michael reunites with a struggling team, including climber Olivia (Nathalie Emmanuel), to compete in a 435-mile endurance race through the Dominican Republic. Alongside a stray dog named Arthur, whom he adopts after the team's misfortune, Michael faces physical hardship and an emotional journey that redefines victory, loyalty, and friendship.
