Aquanoids

On a small island off the California coast, the Fourth of July festivities take a deadly turn as tourists wash up dead in Babylon Bay, eerily reminiscent of the 1987 Aquanoid attacks that killed 17 people. Environmental activist Vanessa DuMont sees the creatures and warns the town of an imminent danger, but her efforts are thwarted by the mayor's desperate attempts to conceal the truth.
